All Star Extravaganza! Leafs Week 17 in Review - Season 4, Episode 013

It's All Star time! Get ready to get ready! This week we talk about the NHL All Star game, the gimmicks and the glory! The biggest breakup in NHL history, the Sedins split up, and no big surprise to many, our beloved Kessel gets picked last. To stroke his bruised ego they give him a car and 20 G's to his favourite charity. We also talk about the Nabokov incident, Leafs horrible week, and Komisarek's appearance in the crappy rumour mill of TMZ. Finally we have a double shot of Wayne's with a talk about Wayne Gretzky and our own Wayne for Wayne's Word. Too many Wayne's! Enjoy the show!

Leafs Week 16 in Review - Season 4, Episode 012

This week we review the Leafs rather mediocre 1-1-1 record. Scoring seemed to be a problem again until they faced the Ducks on Thursday night. We discuss Nabokov's signing with the Red Wings and again marvel at how Kenny Holland manages to get great players at bargain basement prices while the Leafs ownership continually overpays (Kessel, Komisarek, just to name a couple). Will some other club pick him up? We also discuss Lombardi's freak out with the call from the War room on the high stick and the return of Forsberg...again? Then Chris bitches about the 500 million dollar company that runs a rinky-dink T.V station. Finally we sum up the good and bad of the first half of the season for the Leafs and we get Wayne on for a Wayne's Word.

True Grit! Leafs week 15 in Review - Season, Episode 011

We're back after the holidays for a quick episode due to the inability to find the mixer in quick fashion. Since the last episode the Leafs have gone 8-6-0, included in that a 4 game winning streak! This week we delve into the road winning streak which includes the great play of rookie call up James Reimer. Many of the Leafs forwards are poised to score between 20-25 goals which will be career highs for all of them. The only weakness still appears to be on the Defensive side of things as this on paper defense is not living up to potential on the ice. Lately the Leafs have shown true grit, so we decide to talk about the movie True Grit for a while. We discuss Dion Phaneuf, will he ever return to his years of Norris Trophy possibility? We also talk about Wilson's cash betting and his 600th win and the HBO series 24/7. Finally we wrap it up with the usual Wayne's Word!
